1957 Ford Thunderbird. This is a running and driving Thunderbird that needs minor work to be a Friday Night Driver. I have a clear Utah title in my name. Please look closely at all of the photos. This is a rust free western car with just over 100,000 miles. The doors, hood and trunk open and close easily and are properly aligned. It has the original Porthole Top, but does not have the convertible top. The tires and brakes are in good condition. The original owner advised that he removed the 292 V8 engine with the original three speed transmission and installed a 302 V8 with an automatic transmission because he and his wife did not enjoy the manual transmission. The original engine and transmission come with the car. I highly value my 100 percent positive feedback score on Ebay and I want the new owner to know exactly what they are getting. The following is a list of what I see as problem areas for the Thunderbird: 1. The body is rust and dent free, but needs a better paint job. The original color is "Snowshoe White," but the car has been repainted several years ago and the paint is worn. 2. The interior is complete, but is tattered and should be replaced. I took photos of the problem areas of the interior. 3. The 302 engine runs good and is very powerful with the four barrel carburetor, but sounds loud. I was planning on rebuilding the original engine and returning the Thunderbird to the original three speed manual transmission, but I've run out of time and money. 4. There are other minor problems with the Thunderbird, for example the driver's side window is difficult to roll up, but there are not major issues that I can find. 5.
