For sale is our 1998 Honda Odyssey. It has been our family’s primary vehicle for the last 10 years. We now have a different van and no longer need this one. If you’re not familiar, this is a first generation Odyssey that is smaller and based on the Accord platform. The second row doors open like the front row. They are not sliding doors. It uses the same reliable four cylinder engine and transmission the Accords use. Our fuel economy has been in the mid 20's. Its condition is typical of its age and miles of 234,000. As you can see from the pictures, there is some rust around the rear fenders, on the rear hatch, and at the bottom of the doors. There are also minor dents and scratches. From the interior pictures you can see the floor carpet has some stains. It runs well. The check engine and ABS lights stay on. The engine computer gives an oxygen sensor error code. I use Valvoline full synthetic oil. The engine uses about a quart every 2000 miles. I think much of this leaks out while driving. There is a loose heat shield on the exhaust system that rattles at idle. The gasket between the exhaust manifold and the header pipe leaks a bit causing a little extra exhaust noise. The van comes with all season tires that have about 25,000 miles on them and snow tires with 20,000 miles. I think both sets have more than 50% life left. The snow tires greatly help with winter driving. The front and rear A/C work. It has an aftermarket CD/mp3 player with auxiliary input. There is a hitch and a sunroof. We live north of Houston, MN.
