A remarkably well preserved example of this superb BMW motorcycle with low miles and in outstanding condition. This model is incredibly smooth with precise gear box and amazing power. It is certain to become a BMW motorcycle line classic and in this condition with low miles in stock form this is the one to buy.I unfortunately have to admit that after more than 50 years of riding that I can no longer ride this type of motorcycle comfortably. This BMW is all original except for aftermarket grips and the heated grips feature was disconnected in the process of replacing them. Otherwise, it has not been modified. It had a full service (oil change, filter, grease etc...) less than 6 months ago and that was less than 100 miles ago. A new battery was put in at that time. The tires are in very good shape but I do not know how many miles are on them. I have the original tool kit but no manual. From what I know and can see, it has never been laid down. There are a few small rock/sand chips on the fairing from normal use in the Rocky Mountain region highway. The previous owner touched up a few of them. Please see the pictures for a closer look. I also noted a very minor scratch on the front of the fairing also shown up close. There are no tear in the saddle cover, no cracks etc... Awesome machine with a great color combination of silver and blue.It needs nothing but a new rider to appreciate it. I will consider a reasonable offer that is close to my asking price.I can assist with shipping from my end or help out for a pick up and ride away.Also could store it for a while as long as it is paid for.I am located a few miles from Fort Collins, Colorado.
