Vehicle Detail
I have a very low mile 1990 Honda Pacific Coast 800 motorcycle that I no longer need. Purchased a while back in non-running condition. Had been in storage for the past 2 years. The ECU was bad and was replaced with a correct year Honda unit. Cleaned the fuel system including tank and carburetors, flushed and changed all fluids, installed a new battery, cleaned and oiled the K&N air filter, rebuilt the front forks including new fork seals, dust boots and fluid. Tires only have a few hundred miles on them. Windshield is an expensive aftermarket unit in great shape. This bike now runs and rides very nice, like a low mile bike should. A few of the plastic bodywork panels have cracks in them and the right side service inspection cover has a small piece broken (show in the pictures). The top surfaces of the trunk, tank and front fender have faded from the sun and there are a few scratches but overall the bike still looks pretty good. If you are familiar with these bikes you know that they last a long time, are very comfortable to ride and handle similar to a sport bike. Great gas mileage, decent power, tons of storage in the huge trunk. I have the original tool kit and a copy of the owner's manual and service manual. Mechanically this bike is in great shape and ready to ride. Still looks nice too, especially for an unrestored 28 year old motorcycle. These bikes are somewhat rare, especially with the low mileage. Candy Glory Red was the best color in my opinion. Sold at no reserve. I have the bike for sale locally as well and reserve the right to end the auction early. Please email with any questions. Thanks for looking.
