New OEM brake rotors, pads, and calipers front and rear. 4. Factory recommended 105K mile scheduled service including new sparkplugs, spark plug wires, air filter, drive belt, fuel system service, transmission service, differential service, transfer case service, drive shaft service. 5. Newly fitted OEM 255/55/16 tires fitted all around including balance and alignment. 6. New headliner. New transfer case and e-brake boot leather. 7. Freshly completed show vehicle detail. 8. AC Service 9. Brand new upgraded 150A alternator 10. Clean CA title in hand, current plates and tags, current STAR smog certified. As I alluded to earlier, this is one of the finest early D2 models that I’ve seen in a really long time and she is about to make someone a FANTASTIC NEW ROVER! She fires up instantly and runs like a dream as intended. The engine is incredibly quiet. There is no overheating, knocks, stumbles or hesitation. She is pure power and very responsive. Drivetrain performance is crisp and agile with no shudder or clunks. I cannot stress enough how smooth this vehicle runs. From inside the cabin, you wouldn’t even know that it was running if it wasn’t for the tachometer pointing at 750 rpm at idle. Step on the accelerator and she’s off with precise, swift shifting. Braking power is excellent. She is straight and true at every speed whether on town road or highway. All creature comforts have been sorted and work great such as power windows, locks, cruise, audio, and seats. AC and Heat work excellent. Just in time for summer, the AC has been serviced which means efficient and complete cooling. Go ahead and park her on a nice driveway, there are NO LEAKS! Aesthetically she is a stunning vehicle. The Java Black exterior sparkles with age related dings nearly impossible to find! SD models were fitted from the factory with a vinyl seating set up called duragrain but this 1st class vehicle was fitted with real leather captains seating all the way around in Bahama Beige. The seats are some of the finest I have ever seen. They are almost as if no one ever sat in the vehicle. They are velvet smooth to the touch. The exterior is in equally as nice shape. The paint is still highly reflective and the plastic trim is nice and dark. True to all Rover blacks, she has minor highway related surface blemishes on the hood and bonnet nose, but they are hidden well by the deep gloss that they original finish offers. Both front and rear bumpers are as nice as you could hope – which is saying a lot if you are familiar with these vehicles. Further, the front bumper was previously upgraded to a 2003/2004 style which gives the truck a more aggressive profile and updated look. The bumper has minor contact scars and a small split on the RH side but is otherwise tidy and nice. The 16” Pro-line style alloy wheels are also nice and bright with minimal tool-wear and handling contact marks. The body is clean and straightand all top end engine components have been remachined or cleaned by hand. She has always been a garaged car and it shows. The wonderful thing about the SD’s were the non sunroof body. This makes her impervious to rain and foul weather problems while also offering a bit more of roll protection, headroom and sun-shade. She comes with a clean title in hand, 2 working factory remote handsets, and jack and tools are also present and accounted for! This vehicle is ideal to suit for many purposes. It can be a great daily driver, 1st car, work and play vehicle, seasonal home or guest vehicle, and even a perfect platform for a nice overland off road build. As listed, she features over $8500 worth of retail servicing and she should make someone a fantastic car. What I like best about this truck beyond the service is that its not only the desirable non-sunroof model, its also been upgraded to offer finer luxury appointments on the inside and outside offered only on up-models.
