1966 Mustang Coupe. This mustang is in 99.9 % original, unmolested condition with three owner history, with power steering and air conditioning. The vehicle spent the majority of its life garaged in Phoenix Arizona. It is completely rust free from top to bottom with numbers matching original "C"code 289 V-8 and automatic C-4 transmission with just over 64,000 miles. It is completely stock with the original interior in perfect condition optioned with the rare front bench seat with folding arm rest and floor shifter. The original AM radio is in place and still works. Shortly after the car was purchased A/C was added by Montgomery Wards in Phoenix. The only parts that are known to have been replaced are shocks, carburetor, fuel tank sending unit, heater core, heater box seals, radiator, water pump, thermostat, A/C compressor and the trunk mat. All of the removed parts were retained and are stored. The floor pan bottom was cleaned with a "Simple Green" solution that reveals the original red oxide primer installed at Ford. (See the pictures of before and after cleaning). The original exhaust is still in place. It appears that it still has the original paint with areas that have been touched up. It has normal door dings, one dent in the lower right rear quarter panel, a dent on the left roof rail area from a portable basketball goal that fell over on it, and the left rear quarter panel was replaced in the early years. This car is truly an original survivor car and can be driven just about any where with confidence. I have a copy of the Arizona title when i purchased the car and a clear blue Texas title.
