Vehicle Detail
This is a 1975 VW Westfalia with original excellent condition engine (fuel injected), Rebuilt motor and transmission. No rust bus. Fresh professional paint job, all new window rubber and moldings, engine bay, etc. New moldings around fiberglass top with all Westfalia stickers (not yet put on but come with bus). New Stainless mounts on pop-top. This beautiful no-rust bus is for sale for $16,500. All original cabinetry, sink and icebox included. Rock 'n' roll bed is solid as are all of the cushions and original orange plaid covers for upper bed. Window screen for hatch has never been used. Has original jack. 95% restored. Requires new tent top ($300) and original plaid front seats need re-stuffed and covered (original plaid material is available). The rear seat and other cushion coverings are in excellent shape (no tears and are clean). Engine runs solid. Has seen very few miles (like 10) over the course of the last ten years. Has always been garage kept. Some interior parts need to be put back in the bus but absolutely everything is here to finish the job. Bus runs solid and is in exceptional no-rust condition. Every piece of rubber on the bus has been replaced except rubber under front seats. Needs carpeting. Interior of bus floor has been rustproofed. There are very few buses left in this condition. It is ready to get back on the road. Check out the videos from this past year. It was recently listed and taken off e-bay before the reserve was met. I went to start the bus which has been garaged for the winter and noticed that it needs a new electronic fuel pump ($100) or a fuel pump relay switch (around $100). The bus was started off an on during the winter but these things happen... The pump and/or relay have not been replaced yet but wanted to put the bus back on the market knowing that this work will need to be completed. This is an easy fix. https://youtu.be/DTQRI81fL7M https://youtu.be/QsBxXjLKDV0 https://youtu.be/mm_scJciL-A https://youtu.be/zguNzeGyo7s https://youtu.be/G9-faFnKzJ8 Can discuss arrangements for shipping.
