Selling my daughter's 1999 all original firebird with 86,000 miles. No reserve. We have owned the firebird for 6 years, and it's been a great car. We are a car enthusiast/collector family and have lovingly maintained the firebird. I bought it from a family whose daughter drove and outgrew it. We are only selling due to a move to New Hampshire, and we are buying a boring, but useful Subaru for her! Positives: It has never been in an accident, clean carfax, clear title. I replaced the rear bumper after someone scraped it in a parking lot, but rest of the body has original paint. The paint is incredibly vibrant, and everyone who sees the car remarks on its wonderful condition. Brakes and tires have less than 2,000 miles - probably a lot less, actually. New battery in January after cold snap. The car has been garage kept for most of its life. The radio and speakers were replaced, and it's bluetooth compatible. Flip up headlights work perfectly. The previous owner was a firebird enthusiast and immediately replaced the plastic parts (which operate the headlight mechanism) with copper, and we've never had a problem. The car has had all of it's oil changes, replaced ignition wires a year or so ago, and anything else that came up along the way, which was minor. Replaced the clutch at 60,000 miles - now has 86k. The clutch still has plenty of room. My daughter is a very conservative driver, so the car has been babied... Negatives: The passenger side view mirror is damaged (see photo). The rear wheels are in great shape, but the fronts have some pitting and rust spots (I probably could have gotten the rust off with a little effort). There are a few imperfections on the body, but very minor. I can send pic's if you need... The front driver's seat doesn't move forward. My daughter is tall, and has no problem reaching the clutch from the current seat position, so we didn't fix it - but someone under 5'8 probably couldn't reach. Although the AC works and is cold, the AC compressor is whining. Pontiac's naturally have a bit of a whine, but this has gotten a bit louder, and I would anticipate replacing the AC compressor at some point. This is an emotional sell for us... Only putting on EBay because it feels a little less painless than a lot of phone calls and appointments. It's really a beautiful classic firebird, and rare with a stick...I will be sad to see it go.
