After Ford Division Mainstreamed the Special Vehicle Team operations and entered into a new business relationship with Carroll Shelby in 2006, the car that SVT had engineered to be the all new SVT Mustang Cobra came to the market in 2007 as the 2007 Ford Shelby GT 500. Based on the all new S197 Mustang platform and equipped with a special 500 horse power super charged version of the 5.4 liter V-8 this modern day Shelby GT 500 took the muscle car world by storm with looks that mirror the classic's and kind of power and performance previous unheard of in any factory built Ford Mustang Engine The engine was built in the Romeo plant and took two Gentlemen who signed the builders plate picture provided one day to assemble. Total hardtop production was 10847 units for 2007. Of that only 2252 were white. The blue stripe version was a limited number. This car is has a unique history and holds it owns special place as the first year of production. This is a beautiful automobile. I have kept this car in a conditioned garage year around. This car has never been driven in rain. I have only driven this car on dry sunny days. As the pictures show this car is absolutely beautiful. I have all original paperwork to include build sheet, purchase contract and window sticker. The pictures speak for the condition of this fine automobile.
