1977 Ford Bronco Sport 4WD automatic – original condition. This is completely original Bronco Sport. It was stored away for years and we finally decided to pull it out of storage to bring it back to life and pass it on to someone who will enjoy it. The Broncos of these years are one of the most collectable vehicles these days and this one is an original time capsule. The saying you hear all the time, it is only original once is really true with this one. Drive it in its original condition or restore it for a high dollar masterpiece. I have set a reasonable price and reserve to pass it on to someone who can enjoy it. This is great original condition and as you read through this, I think stands up to any original one out there. Original 302 engine. Automatic transmission. Power steering. Front disc brakes. 4 Wheel Drive. Brand new tires on Ford truck aluminum wheels. I have the original steel wheels. Dual fuel tanks. They hold gas perfectly. All lights work. All gages work. It starts and runs although I don’t know the true condition of the engine as it was stored for years. It does smoke a little. It has all the original accessories on it so it would be an easy rebuild. We have driven it around. The automatic transmission shifts and works fine. The 4 Wheel Drive works and the front hubs lock correctly. The power steering works perfectly and it steers really easily. The brakes work perfectly. We have done some work on those which I will describe below. All the glass, being the original glass is good. The windshield has a swipe scratch from the wiper. The rubber seals have seen their better day. The interior is in great shape. The dash pad is perfect, all the gages are good and it even has all the original knobs. The seats need recovering, being the original seats and the door panels are intact although could use some help. The front floor pans have been replaced by a professional since we pulled it out of storage. The only other rust in the floor is a little around the base of the rear wheel well where it meets the floor. The body has the original orange paint on it with a white stripe. Yes it still has some shine on it. The roof hardtop has the original white paint on it. The rust on the body is: The passenger rocker has a hole, there are spots around the two fuel doors and the bottom outside of the tail gate. That is not much at all compared to most. All easily repairable. There is no rust on the frame, no holes in the frame and no issues with suspension components. The hood, doors and fenders are not rusty at all. Even the bottoms of the doors are good. The hood lip has no rust. The engine bay is in great shape. The door sills are not rusty. The hardtop roof is in great shape. Original bumpers. All doors open and close easily along with the tail gate and top glass door. The spare holder works and latches correctly. After pulling it out of storage we worked on it a little to get it running and rolling and stopping correctly. We replaced: Spark plugs, fuel pump, accelerator pump and valve in the carb, cleaned the carb and installed new filter, replaced the valve cover gaskets, changed the oil, installed new front disc brake calipers, new rear wheel cylinders, new belts. This is a Sport version so you get the V-8, automatic and disc brakes, what a package. This is a true original gem. Yes these are one of the most collectible vehicles and this is truly an altogether original opportunity to enjoy. Sold As Is – please feel free to ask questions.
