What I have is a 1953 Chevy pickup that has been in my family from mid-1970 till now. I inherited the truck back in 2012 and between my uncle and I put the truck back together. My uncle did allot of the work and I paid for the parts because he was retired and had lots of time to do so. It’s fun to drive and I get lots of “thumbs up” but I recently decided to sale the truck because frankly I’m just tired of seeing the truck around here for all of those years. Motor is a 1970, old school 327/ 30 over with a Edelbrock intake and 600 Edelbrock carb w/electric choke. Updated Billet electronic distributor. Headmen coated block hugger headers and flowmaster mufflers, “needs tail pipes”. Edelbrock breather with matching valve covers. Weiand rebuildable water pump with billet pullies and a chrome alternator. Transmission is a 1970 TH 350 with a lokar shifter. Both motor and transmission have about 30.000 miles on them. Frame is updated with an adjustable mustang II 2” lower spindlas and disk brakes At the rear its got a 1970 nova 10 bolt rear with drum brakes New brake lines from front to rear and a 7” dual diaphragm booster and a corvette master cylinder (brakes seam spongy and may need bled buy a shop) 30 gal gas tank mounted under the bed at the rear An E-Z 21 circuit wireing harness was installed to update the wiring. 15x8 corvette rally wheels and caps with trim rings are what it rolls on. Interior is stock bench seat that has been updated and covered in tan material with storage under the bottom. I also have enough material to cover the headliner and door panels the will need to provide carpet. Electric wipers, Chrome gm tilt column with keys and dolphin gages that all work and look great. Body was in very nice shape it has new chrome front and rear bumpers, chrome tail lights, chrome brackets and tag bracket. Gas tank door molded in drivers side rear fender. All new glass and rubbers installed. The truck runs great drives right and looks good as is or paint to your liking. I have a folder 3” thick of receipts of all the work that has gone into this truck to go with truck. Have a few extra small misc. parts to go with truck also. This is a great start for someone to get painted and have a nice truck. Thanks for looking.
