Vehicle Detail
Begrudgingly selling my 2010 2SS Camaro RACE CAR. I have over $50K invested in this car. My friend Gene Martinez owner of Large Boyz Toyz & Customz helped me create my dream car by installing the ZL1 style hood and front clip, and the body kit including the square exhaust ports and the highrise rear spoiler. Then he painted it in a custom 'satin' finish matte black. Discount Tires installed new 22" rear and 20" front wheels and tires. After that I took it to the Camaro expert in town, Sean Stanford of Solid Tech Performance, who installed the supercharger, cam, stainless steel long-tube headers, stainless steel 3-inch "true dual" exhaust, and the upgraded pulley for the supercharger. At our mile-high altitude it dyno'd at 587hp to the wheels (600+ at the crank), so probably close to or better than 600hp at sea level. Then my friends at King Kong Customs installed the Hotchkiss Race Pack racing suspension (front and rear), and while they had it apart they replaced ALL the bushings with new polyurethane - this car corners on rails. Make no mistake... this car is NOT for your teenage son, it is a flat-out RACE CAR that can literally break traction at freeway speeds. Because of the way this car looks I get challenged a lot on the freeway back and forth to work etc, and I have never encountered a car that can even keep up with it - and that includes performance enhanced vettes, vipers, camaros, you name it. This last January I was unfortunate enough to hit a rock some kids had tossed off an overpass and it caused a lot of damage. But USAA stepped up and sent it to Car Crafters who did an EXCELLENT job putting everything back together, including ordering Hotchkiss supension parts right from the factory. The car does have a salvage title but drives as straight and true as anything you'll ever drive. I've messed up the paint in a couple places due to just life (see pics), but if anything this car looks even better with a few character flaws. It is a stunning looking ride. Again this is NOT a tool-around-town kind of car, and it is NOT suitable for teenagers etc, this is an extremely powerful, high-performance RACE CAR and should be bought with something like that in mind.
