I am selling my beloved 1955 Buick Century 4 Door (no center window-post). It was originally sold in San Fernando, then spent a while in central California, (Salinas), and is now back in Los Angeles. Almost everything now works on the car; the radio, clock, dome light, speedometer, power front seat, electric windows. The heater has yet to be addressed. It has an Omni Battery, modern alternator rather than generator, and a disk brake upgrade on the front. It also has power steering and power brakes. It even has it's rare factory tissue box, look under the passenger-side dash in that photo. I have recently replaced all weather stripping. The car runs and looks great. I drive it often, sometimes to San Francisco and back at 70 mph with zero issues. Although the odometer reads 20,900 miles the actual milage is unknown. Everyone, from business men to hardened gangsters smile at it and flip me a thumbs up when my friends and I pass. Valets park it up front without me asking and traffic seems to always part and wave me in. It seats 6 adults comfortably and turns otherwise mundane transportation into an entertaining event.
