Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is one of the coolest and unique vintage trucks I've ever owned. For those who know Dodge trucks this is a very rare 4x4 W200 crew cab. This rig was a Government issued vehicle in 1962. Civilian models became available in 1963. Really nice restoration. Very few made. This is an original 4x4 truck, not a conversion. All original sheet metal, motor, transmission, etc. Slant 6 (225), New Process 4 speed and New Process transfer case. 4.11 Gears. Hard to find 19.5 wheels, new tires, glass, wiring, rubber, etc. All is FRESH. Original VIN number. Center section of bed (floor) was replaced with diamond tread...could not remake (or find repop) of the original sheet metal. The rest of the bed is how it came from the factory. We then used spray in bed liner (green) to match the color of the truck. There's also a pic of when I purchased the truck (painted red). Only the Dodge is for sale in this advertisement. Also, we have taken many pics of this restoration and will share them with serious prospects. This is not some cheap truck that was poorly restored with all repop parts, so please bid accordingly. This would be a fun driver but also a great investment piece. Message with questions...too many details to list. Lastly, all shipping arrangements must be made by buyer. Truck is located about 45 minutes northeast of Downtown Atlanta, GA. Payment will be via paypal deposit within 24 hrs. of $1,000.00 and the remaining balance will be bank transfer (wire) or certified check within 7 calendar days, NO exceptions! The truck doesn't leave my driveway until funds clear, as you would understand. No returns, sold as-is. Happy to provide access for an inspection, but this MUST be performed prior to auction’s end (just like any other auction). I have 100% feedback so please bid in confidence. Thanks for looking and good luck.
