Up for sale is my 54 Chevy pickup truck. I drive the truck to work once a week or atleast try to drive it on the weekends. I had a lot of plans for it but the family grew and we don't fit and I'm barely driving her anymore. All maintenance is up to date and most things that could go wrong have been replaced. She is still running on her inline six with 3 speed manual "on the tree" transmission. She also retains her 6 volt electrical system which is working perfectly. Some of the parts replaced are: generator, starter, battery, carburetor, distribution box, external coil, plugs, wires, cap-rotor-brushes-condensor, tail lamp bulbs. What I would look into next is modern disk brake application and upgrading front suspension as this one already feels old. The wooden bed needs to be redone, right now it's got a plywood serving as the bed floor. This truck would make for a great patina style all original driver, cause she is a driver. The tires are real white walls (not fake plastic add ons). My plans were ro leave her exterior exactly as she sits and concentrate on giving her a brand new interior and new floors so i could paint the inside of the car nice and glossy, while keeping her exterior looking patina. Vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty or returns. She gets a lot of attention wherever I drive her. Wish I didn't have to sell her but I do need a classic that the whole family can enjoy... I hope she goes to a home that will enjoy her as much as we have.
