Greetings from Florida. Here is a nicely preserved 1965 Ford Galaxie 500. Well taken care of over the years. The body is very straight. A couple of tiny spots under the tail lights and trim going around the back glass. Doors open and close very smoothly.The paint is older and worn. Very driveable appearance but a paint job would be ideal. Front bumper is in good shape. The rear bumper has some surface rust. Trunk area is solid. No jack but there is an old spare which at least has a good rim to use. Under the car is very good for a car of 50+ years. Tires are in good shape. Cragars have some wear but mostly shiny. . Dual exhaust is older but fine. Transmission recently rebuilt and shifts properly. The kick down linkage at the carb is not currently connected due to a broken connector on the end of the linkage rod. Engine is a big block 352 and pretty much original. Runs fine. No smoking. 2 barrel carburetor is new. New Electronic ignition has replaced the old style points and coil set up. New plugs and wires. Power steering is superb. Engine and under the hood has been given a face lift and looks very good. All glass in very good shape. Rubber around the door glass is older. Windshield super clear. Lights, turn signals, wipers, horn, instrument lights all working. Previous owner upgraded with some added important engine monitoring gauges and Pioneer stereo. Original dash clock NOT working. This car has manual drum brakes which are original to the car. I am including a power front disc brake kit which can help you convert the front drum brakes to power disc brakes. $700.00 worth of brake upgrade stuff here. The interior is black and in good shape. Headliner is outstanding with chrome trim. Front seat in good shape. Black carpet is older with some wear but is still in pretty good shape. Driver's side door panel has some wear.
