This is a old Idaho Beet Truck a cattle rancher had in Idaho , I purchased and did a little work on , crate performance motor stamped on block PF106 , dated heads and distributor, AOD transmission ,custom drive shaft, power steering , power brakes , springs, shackles , tires. and more . runs ,drives and handles well . I would and have driven it all over. Very solid welded and boxed original frame with power rack & pinion , 9 in. rear from 70 ranchero , all metal all ford.Has 47 cab and frame with 40 fenders and 41 hood that where on it with a straight 6 when I purchased it. Everyone in his small town new it as old blue , Would have left it that way but motor and trans. were just wore out - She deserved a new heart and I gave her one ... Ohio titled 1947 and I have a copy of the Idaho title two.. All metal with dings and dents no bondo . Hood was pounded on the sides before I received it Motor has no clearance problem . sold as is .. I moved it to my small garage and it blew something in the power steering , was leaking pretty good have no room in there to look at it , probably a line or fitting . On Feb-15-18 at 09:07:27 PST, seller added the following information: Lots of Questions - Let me state Items replaced , Motor , Transmission, Cooling system, Brakes, Springs , Tires, Exhaust , Steering Rack and Drive shaft a lot of other odds and ends. Running Driving Truck After the Power Steering Leak is Repaired .Can put fluid in it to start and move , I would think, Drove it in the Garage And Heard the pump noise, seen the fluid was leaking out and slide a pan under it . That's how she sits now ,, This is a good old truck just have a few other things in the pot !
