OVERVIEW:This one of a kind truck started out as a 2001 International Harvester 4900 with the desirable DT466E diesel motor and rare Allison automatic transmission. The chassis was professionally built, or you could say overbuilt with the amount of customization and high quality welding that was done. A new 2015 Ford F650 truck bed was added and if that was not enough, the motor just got over $10,000 worth of performance upgrades from Swamp Diesel Performance, which include a new turbo, injectors and performance chip. This thing moves! It also has new set of custom 20" Military wheels that were powder coated with a new set of Michelin XZL 335/80R-20d. The truck only weighs about 10,000 lbs. and has hydraulic brakes, so you don’t need a CDL license to drive it. It also is pretty reasonable on fuel, I would guess it gets about 12 MPG. Mechanically, it needs nothing - it just had a complete mechanical inspection where it received 100% and was said "It's like a brand new truck!". MECHANICAL: It is powered by the DT466E diesel motor, which many call the “Million Mile Motor” due to its reliability. As mentioned above, the engine was just upgraded with a new, larger Borg Warner turbo, larger performance injectors and a performance chip with custom tune was installed. It runs nice and smooth just cruising around town with the Allison MT643 automatic transmission, but if you put your foot into it it will actually chirp the tires when it shifts. THIS THING MOVES!! I am unsure what the gear ratio is, but it make a ton of power and it cruises 65MPH - 75MPH without a problem. It had also just gone through a complete mechanical inspection where is was given a 100%. The brakes were recently replaces, the AC was just recharged, which blows ice cold and everything works as it should - it drives, shifts and runs excellent. The engine and underneath of this truck is just as clean as the top side. EXTERIOR:The paint is in very good shape. There are a couple of spots on the front of the truck by the grill that were touched up due to rock chips. The wheels were powder coated and the entire chassis was painted. It has a custom front bumper, custom rear bumper with integrated hitch with trailer plug with trailer brake control. The F650 bed is like new. It has a nice Tonneau cover and some custom LED marker lights. I like the clean color combo now, but it would be the perfect truck to "wrap" with your custom company brand, or any color you like. A matte red, or matte black with tinted windows would look cool! INTERIOR: The interior is in great shape. The driver's seat has air ride, making it comfortable for those long hauls. It has cruise control and it having the automatic Allison transmission makes it easy to drive. It just had the AC recharged, which blows ice cold and an awesome, over the top sound system with Bluetooth so you can play music and make calls from your phone. It also has a set of Train Horns on it to “announce” you are coming. Not that anyone could miss you in this truck!
