Hi, We have a unique situation with this BMW M5. Received the Vehicle on trade, Vehicle had a light knock that turned into a heavy knock. We removed the engine and transmission as a whole from the vehicle to inspect the bottom end. Crankshaft is worn on cylinder 6, rod is out of round. We have decided to cut our losses and move on vs rebuild. Beyond the knock, the car has no mechanical issues. Tracked straight, no noises, tranmssion shifted perfectly. What we are listing for sale here is a 2007 BMW M5 with just shy of 130k miles. We are not putting the engine, transmission, nor exhaust back in the car so please consider this with your bid. What you are bidding on is everything less these items. Body is in great shape, interior is in even better shape. Wheels have fairly new tires on them. Great project car, clean title. There is a section on the drivers side rear quarter panel where the paint is fading shown in pictures. Contact if you have any questions. Vehicle was smogged last week before engine removal (car had no check engine lights, just that loud knock).
