Selling a black on red 1965 “V” code Oldmobile 442With factory 4 speed. Read the description carefully.I have a correct B block and A heads for this car and as of now, they are ready to build. I have had the block all checked out, bored and line honed. The block has new cam bearings and freeze plugs. The heads are cleaned and free of any cracks. I also have a correct 4 speed transmission and bell housing. I have a very nice 4 speed console and shifter to go with the car. The original rear differential is a positive track, I believe it to be a 3:23 ratio.I have a very nice grill and headlight buckets. I have the front bumper as well.I have a red, bucket seat interior for this car and it is in need of restoration, as is the car. The body is pretty solid, with typical rust issues, that one would expect from a 53 year old southern car, such as trunk floor sheet metal and floor pans. The passenger side B pillar has a little rust too. I have the hood for this car and there is a little dent near the hinge area.Otherwise this car is in very solid, restorable condition.This car has great potential and I would like to see it brought back to life.I have my hands full right now, with projects that I can’t seem to finish, so this car will be for someone else to do. You? I have accumulated all of these parts to build this car.I have other parts that could be bought separately from this auction, such as powder coated “R” code wheels . Tri power intake and carburetors , that has been correctly restored. A perfect Black dashpad And dashboard for a floor shift. Extra side scoops. And many more 65 442 related parts. I do have the radiator core support.I have the intake and exhaust manifolds. this car has been converted to disk brakes on the front.
