Vehicle Detail
1976 Honda 400 Four, 400F, excellent original condition. Starts, runs and rides perfect. Everything works as it should. Original Ruby red paint, Fantastic original four into one header. No rust, dings scrapes or damage of any kind. One of the nicest you could ever see. Perfect original rust free seat. Certified original miles documented on the title. I have fully refurbished this bike after purchasing it from a local collector who had the Honda stored away for twenty years ! I have done the following in my nearly five years of ownership...... new Avon road rider tires, new OEM front rim laced with Buchanan stainless spokes, re-chromed original front fender, Hagon polished stainless rear shocks, NOS chrome headlight ring, NOS right side handle bar switch, genuine Honda new handle bars, new horn, NOS Honda Muffler (super rare and very expensive ! ) all new cables, numerous replaced Honda rubber parts including grips and foot pegs, numerous Honda chrome parts and hardware including fuel cap, steering stem nut, fork tube top nuts, handle bar clamp nuts and chain adjusters, NOS points cover, NOS Honda logo alternator cover, and much more, rebuilt brake master and caliper plus new brake hoses, rebuilt carbs using genuine Honda kits (these were freshly dialed in and the bike runs PERFECT ), reproduction chrome chain guard. Repainted small black parts such as side and center stand, and swing arm. New battery in the last year. *** I have converted the turn signals and tail light from the oversize USA mandated items to the European and home market smaller items. All parts are genuine Honda and the lights are all OEM Stanley items. This conversion required new headlight mount which incorporates the smaller signal mounts and also new rear fender and tail light mount. This really cleans up the look of the bike and the smaller lights are much more in scale with the size of the machine. See the photos for the size comparison. All the parts were sourced from England at a great expense. All original parts are included as well. Also included are two sets of Honda keys, original owners manual in excellent condition, and a very nice original tool kit. This Honda was featured on page106 in the 2014 book " The Modern Classics" These great bikes are going up in value. A tatty non runner with many rusty parts and almost 20,000 miles, just sold for $2,786. Check out Ebay # 142622577358 Please email any questions or if you want to talk about the motorcycle. I will cooperate with your shipper but will not make shipping arrangements. I have a clear Pennsylvania title in my name. The title is marked Antique and the mileage is listed as original at 5,855 when I titled the Honda in November 2013. $500 deposit via Paypal at the close of the auction. Balance due prior to pick up.
