Vehicle Detail
Recent Maintenance:Complete front brake work includes new pads, rotors, brake lines, caliper overhaul, and brakes bled at 105,000 milesNew spark plugs at 105,000 milesNew Air filter at 105,000 milesNew batteryNew tires at ~103,000 miles, >75% tread wear remainingNew Pioneer car stereo (<6 months ago), includes bluetooth, no CD playerCarpeting replaced throughout the entire car ~4.5 years ago.Oil Change at 110,265 miles. Upcoming Maintenance or work needed: Timing Belt Replacement due at 125,000 miles (highly recommend doing the water pump at the same time)The transmission works fine, but the seals are bad. The transmission needs to be topped off every ~3,000 miles to keep it in good working order and prevent damage.Vapor lock in the summer months (July and August). The fuel line runs right through the middle of the engine. I believe some of the rubber bushings that protect the fuel line from the heat of the engine are dry and old transmitting heat to the fuel line. Usually, leaving the hood up for ~15 minutes allows the car to start again. When I drive the car to work and it stays parked all day, I have no issue. I believe any competent mechanic will be able to fix this.Fan switch – The fan switch is defective. Currently the climate I live in along with not being in stop and go traffic are not causing any overheating problems whatsoever. If you will use this car in stop and go traffic, this should be fixed. Otherwise, this car always run cool with no overheating concerns.Sun Roof does not work, tracks are sticky and need to be cleaned. All the working parts for the sunroof will come with the car.Rear wheels need to be balanced. I think some wheel weights feel off last winter. You won't notice it below 60 mph.Seats were replaced with manual seats and recovered ~5 years ago. Unfortunately a cheap material was used and the seats now have some cracks.Dash cover is ok, but not great. To International Bidders: I have been as honest as possible with this posting. I will charge you the full deposit if the deal does not work out.
