Vehicle Detail

The rear main seal and power-steering do not leak. No leaks at all. No Engine Light. ...and yes, the air-conditioning is Toyota ice cold. Earlier this year, my 1997 Lexus LX450 with 154,000 miles was rear-ended by a semi. The truck was totaled but I bought it back for all the parts and accessories. Then I picked up this fine Arizona 1994 Cruiser from a neighbor, with 365k miles! He had it in the family for a long time and it was almost impossible for him to get rid of it but it leaked like crazy and he knew my passion for these Cruiser's. Still has original window sticker and receipts. After agreeing on a price, I drove it straight to a very reputable Toyota Dealership in Phoenix. The entire engine was rebuilt, rear main seal replaced, all hoses and factory clamps installed, pesky heater-hose replaced, new motor mounts AND parts from the LX450 were used to replace the manifold, throttle body, air-intake system, Bilstein suspension(less than 5k miles), front and rear axles(new front seals), wheels, tires, headlights, grill, trim, etc. You start this truck now and you forget it's even on, it's so quiet. And yes, it drives great! You quickly forget the power these trucks produced when they came off the lot. New front control arms and bushings. ALL new fluids including transmission. Receipts to show most of the work done. The list goes on and on... The entire suspension has less than 5k miles on it and it came off the LX450. BFG KO2's 285/75/16 have over 80% tread left. Spare is a new Kenda Klever MT 235/85/16. After many years and trips on 35" tires and 2.5" lift suspensions, I am now a firm believer of only 285/75/16 with the OME2861 front coils springs and OME2862 rear coil springs with Bilstein HD shocks and OME SD24 steering damper. Added 30mm front spacer. If you're not "crawling" and looking more for a off-road expedition experience type rig, this is the set-up for you. It's a firm suspension on the asphalt(no body roll or "wobbling" when cornering) and you'll thank me when you hit the dirt ; ) I added new interior LED lights, factory manual throttle cable and factory center diff lock switch. All lights bulbs were replaced that were burnt out, except the radio bulbs. Radio and CD work. Sunroof works perfect! The rear door windows do not go up all the way(off-track). They are about an inch off and can be pushed up by hand. This was a camper/bug-out type vehicle so all rear seats and seatbelts were removed. I do not have the rear seats. Seat mounting holes were filled with white silicone. Truck was never smoked in and there are no weird smells and no animal hair. Rear Eaton Electric Locker was swapped over from the LX450. VERY RARE! I believe I was the first in AZ to have this installed in my LX450. It was swapped over with the axles. There is less than 5k miles on the locker. In my opinion, it works better than the factory Toyota locker because it engages as soon as you begin turning that "magic" dial. The same switch used in the 100 series. The dial switch as well as the Eaton Locker were installed by the Toyota dealership. No air compressors, no air hoses, no drive forwards or backwards to engage, no "automatic" engagement, no BS! It locks right away in any situation and it's a completely sealed unit. The Bad - The body has 365k miles on it and it's the original paint, so there is some oxidation. Dent above and below rear driver side tail light. No driver side sun-visor, no rear seats, I swapped the original front fabric seats with electric seats. The 94 wiring harness with fabric seats that came with the truck only had a open plug for the driver side seat and nothing for the passenger side seat? I searched under the carpet and couldn't find anything. The driver seat moves but the passenger seat does not. I added a new driver side seatbelt. Small tear in the rear passenger door panel. I would consider soon replacing the O2 sensors since they are original. Included - Wit's End pocket protector and center console liner, ARB awning(with LED lights), 58" Hi-Lift and mounts, gun/fishing pole rack, mud track ramps and rubber Huskey cargo mat and front rubber mats. Roof rack and rear bumper was new and added a few months ago along with the marine fire extinguisher and rear upper cargo rack. Not included - My blue shirt covering the license plate and sitting on top of the roof rack, pelican space-case, front IPF fog lights(no wiring harness), my water shoes, fishing pole/equipment, rolled foam mattress and all the items on the upper rear cargo shelf. PLEASE feel free to ask any questions or if more pics are desired. Thank you for taking the time to read through all of my posting. I hope this rig falls in the hands of someone who will appreciate it as much as I do.
