Up for no reserve is a very solid, factory Marina Blue/ Blue interior, 67 Impala SS Convertible. This is a 275hp 327, TH 400, 12 bolt rear end car. This car needs complete restoration but it does run, move, and stop. The tires are shot and would definitely need replaced before driving it down the road. I do believe that the engine and tranny are original to the car because it is a KL suffix block, with the original electric transmission kick down. The story I was given with the car is that a body man owned it and stripped it down for a repaint. At some point after he stripped it down and before he painted it, he was diagnosed with cancer. The car sat for a while till another guy bought it in hopes of restoring it, parked it in his building, and let it sit for 18 years till I came along and bought it last summer. I DO BELIEVE I HAVE ALL OF THE TRIM PIECES, but not 100 percent sure. Also at some point there was a donor car, because I have multiples of some things. The only thing I can see I don't have is a rear bumper. After sitting for all those years, I had the gas tank boiled, and added a new fuel sending unit, and fuel pump. This car is remarkably solid! The body panels, floorboards, and frame look to be rust free. There is surface rust on the body panels where the paint was removed to bare metal, IT IS ONLY SURFACE RUST DUE TO EXPOSED METAL. There is a very small pin hole in the trunk floor, it is too small to picture, but believe me it is there. The only other options I can see on it are power steering and power top, (not working and is obviously down). The trim tag and vin decode as followed.
