Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE I'm listing this bike for an old friend. He's had the bike for several years but no longer has a place to keep it. It's mechanically very good (approx. 16,500 miles from new), but could use some TLC in the appearance department. Mechanically: good brakes, steering, and suspension. Engine totally oil-tight(!), brand new Amal Concentric carb, brand new Pazon electronic ignition unit, brand new coils, new battery, new tires, good electrics, LED taillight. Starts first kick, quickly settles down to a nice, steady idle, pulls very strongly in all four gears. Tracks, turns, and stops just like a 70s Triumph should. A joy to ride. Appearance: flawed paint on tank, rip in seat cover, chrome on handlebars bars a bit scuffed, scrape (but no rust) on headlight rim, some rusty fasteners and a bit of surface rust here and there. Headers good, silencers very good. Rims and spokes good. Overall, would make a very nice winter restoration project. All the challenging mechanical stuff has been done (did I mention the oil-tight engine?), really just needs some dressing up.
