This heavily optioned cougar comes with a big block 390 4-barrel carburetor, C6 automatic, posi-traction rear axle, clock, console, tilt-away steering wheel, power steering, air conditioning, am-fm stereo, décor group, tinted glass, deluxe seats, remote control left hand mirror, style steel wheels, front disc brakes and suspension upgrades as part of GT performance group. The original cougar rubber floor mats are in great condition, While not a show car, this thing is in great condition. The car underwent a major restoration in 1991 that included everything but the interior. I have all the receipts for the work done at that time. Air blows cold, but is the R-34. The documentation includes the original purchase in Illinois and the movement of the car to Colorado with the original owner in 1981. I have every piece of paperwork from the original purchase from Touhy Avenue Motors in Park Ridge, Illinois, even business cards with hand written notes from competing dealerships when the original owner was pricing out the car to order. The original order sheet is in the package. Ordered on January 6, 1968 and delivered on February 6, 1968. I have enjoyed this car the last five years, but it is time to move on.
