I was looking for a car like this in this condition for over 2 years. External condition is 9/10 and interior is 10/10. Car is perfect - conversion was done about 2500 miles ago.South bend stage 3 clutch and transmission was from URS4. About URS4 transmission why 5 speed and not 6 speed. Top ratio is the same as your 5th - Audi squeezed in two between 3rd and top. It makes a closer ratio 'box, which is fun, but top still feels a bit "short", which I suspect is the problem you're wanting to address. You'd feel the benefit of the extra ratios accelerating beyond 100 mph.The six speed box is derived from the type Audi developed racing. Its got nice weighting, seems pretty strong, but is distinctly less smooth in action than the five speed box, even when warm.Timing belt and everything else associated with it was done at 146000 mile. You do not need to do anything to this car till it reaches 220000 miles mark. I have seen these cars sell with 220000 mile with Auto Transmission for $5000+. This one was already professionally converted.Price is firm, $10500 cash in hands takes this car. If you want to keep roof bike roof rack it is additional $500. If you have read this far you know how rare this car is in USA. They were imported here only in 2002 and 2003 only with Automatic transmission and only few have manual conversions. This is basically a family car that can kill Porsche on a freeway - 340 HP, V8 4.2L hooked to a manual transmission is a killer combination. New control arms and brakes.
