JUST REDUCED! MOVING! MOTIVATED SELLER! 1982 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia fully equipped camper with lots of original extras and low miles. I am the third owner. We are downsizing and moving so it needs to find a new home! Original 70 HP pancake engine with twin carburetors to replace the original mechanical fuel injection that was notorious for having problems. Equipped with an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly with no problems; also equipped with cruise control but I have never used it. Has fairly new tires, new brakes, upgraded suspension, brake master cylinder and booster. Recently installed a new Bosch alternator, all new fuel lines, and a new battery. Has factory A/C which I understand is pretty rare. Engine was rebuilt at around 100,000 miles for normal maintenance and shows 27,162 miles on the odometer since it was rebuilt. Engine is tight and runs very well. Some minor surface rust but nothing through the metal. Very clean underneath with no rust. One minor dent on the passenger sliding door, but does not prevent normal operation and no structural damage. Super nice original interior to include all surround curtain and even one for the back window. Also includes an original folding metal ladder for the upper bunk, which is extremely rare. It has both original manuals. Propane powered stove works, refrigerator works, sink needs a fuse or perhaps a new pump. It also has an extra auxiliary battery for camping under driver's seat. Equipped with the original VW cassette radio that only works on AM. Original canvas tent, which is in otherwise good condition besides a small hole in the front from rubbing against the roof latch. It has been treated with a waterproof coating. Could be easily fixed with a patch but we will let its next owner decide. Vehicle has a clear title in hand and never been in an accident.
