This truck will make someone very happy. I hate to see it go, but my three boys are getting tight in the backseat, so time to get a full-size pick up. I have used this as my daily driver for the last 3-4 years and it has treated me very well. I would drive it across the country tomorrow. Very, very dependable. Truck is originally from California/Utah which is why the frame and body are in such great shape. Truck was built with capability AND drivability in mind. Currently it has 274,000 miles, but if you know these you know a good one when you see it. This one will be on the road for another 200,000 miles. Does not smoke or burn any oil, Never left a drop in my driveway either. * 02 Tacoma DC 4X4.* 35" Goodyear Dura-Tracs with a lot of tread, 20,000 miles on them.* 1" Wheel Spacers.* 2" OME Lift with Tubbed Fenders, keeps it low and wide. Just the right stance.* Total Chaos Upper Control Arms.* Professionally Re-geared to 5.29's. Cruises on the highway at 75mph. * Rear Electronic Locker.* Tundra 231mm Brake Upgrade. Stops very well.* Optima Red Top.* Transmission Cooler by-pass.* ARB Air Locker ready to be installed in front. Actually...I had it installed, but just removed it when the front diff was re-built last week. Compressor is still in with the operating switch. Locker included with Buy It Now price.* Custom Front Bumper with fresh bedlinen coating will last forever. Very overbuilt and ready for your winch.* Custom Rock Sliders are the same build quality. Welded on, not bolted. * Welded rear frame reinforcement.* TG Rear Diff Guard.* Alpine Head Unit with in-line amp powering (4) sets of Alpine Component Speakers in doors. Sounds great. * Remote Start.* New Grill, headlights, tail lights, front windshield, rear Bumper* Replaced transmission 300 miles ago because it was getting loose and I didn't want to sell it that way. Professionally installed from local trans shop. Have receipts.* Very recent; oil change, re-built front differential, all filters, rear axle seals, front axle seals, tie rods, front rotors/pads, rear shoes,muffler and pipe cat-back.* Just coated the truck in bedliner (Monstaliner) and I couldn't be more impressed with the finish and durability of the coating. Body, front bumper and Rock Sliders were done. All trim was removed and prep was professionally completed. * Actual bed was bedlined professionally locally 3 months ago. * Stripes and flags can be easily removed if they are not your style. Honest ads include the bad...These are simple fixes, but in the past 6 months I've worked on big maintenance items, so these just didn't make the list before needing to sell:* Slight seep from oil pan gasket. Does not drip.* I replaced the gas tank straps once, but it still knocks side to side some. Safe and sound, just a small item that bothers only me.* Heater and A/C work great, but blower fan has a slight squeak. I turn the radio up.* Full lock in reverse will just barely rub the frame turning right. Nothing bad at all and I like the low lift and big tire look/performance so I did not choose to go higher. 1.5" spacer would probably do it.* Passenger headlight (which is brand new) got some goo-gone on it and marred the finish. I will include a new one or if I get 5 minutes, will install before sale. * Remote Start needs new batteries in fob. I never used it much. This truck is in great shape for it's age and mileage, but this is a used vehicle and has been used off-road. If you love these Tacomas and enjoy tinkering with them, this is a very nice version of one of the best years (IMO) of the extremely reliable Tacoma. Buyer responsible for full inspection.
