First, we are NOT a car dealer. Our ebay name spoilsportmotors is from an old comedy album. My wife & I both love cars and we have a car hobby. Yes, it really does have just 5,934 miles on it. This is because we have (now had) 7 cars in our 9-car garage so the mileage gets distributed among them. I mainly drive my 370Z and since I am retired I don't put much mileage on that either. This beautiful Guards Red Cayman is indistinguishable from a new car. I know everyone talks up their car when they're selling it, but I am brutally honest when I do this because I don't want anyone to feel I have misrepresented anything. The only reason I am selling it is that we are moving to a house I'm having built in TN that only has a 3-car garage and I am having to sell all my hobby cars. If you want the fantastic flat-6 engine instead of the current 4-cylinder, but you want a new car, this is about as close as you can get. I have meticulously maintained this car with regular professional detailing. All servicing has been done by the dealer I bought it from, Champion Porsche in Pompano FL. I ordered it then waited 3 1/2 months for it to be made and shipped from Germany. I live in Port Saint Lucie, FL which is about 1 1/2 hours from there, and I have them come with a flat bed to take it in for service so I don't put on miles, avoid any road debris or get into that crazy south Florida traffic. I buy cars for how they look. While performance and handling are marks of a great car, I really don't drive the Cayman (or any of my cars) any differently than I would a Civic. It has always been in our garage here in FL, and if the humidity starts to rise we turn on the dehumidifier. We don't smoke, never have and would never eat or drink in any of our special cars. Overall, the photos are a very good representation of the condition. Ideally, you would want to come by and see for yourself. We are going to see the auction through to the end. The successful high bidder will submit a $500.00 non-refundable deposit via Paypal within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 3 days of the close of the auction by bank cashier's check (not a money order). It will not leave our hands until the full amount is safely cleared in our account. You must bring your own tag (unless being transported) and show us proof of insurance coverage actually on this car (your insurance company can do this with the VIN# over the phone) before taking possession.
