Very good mechanical condition. Driver quality paint with clear coat peeling. Car is a body off frame mechanical restoration, original black seats and door panels, original dash. Date stamp on pictures is incorrect, most were taken today, 10/21/2017. Car has under body exhaust system and factory original hubcaps. Mileage is unknown, less than 2000 miles on restoration. Hurst shifter,aluminum flywheel, tach drive distributor, all engine shielding...Speedometer,tach,temp,fuel,oil gauges work. OEM radio plays well AM/FM. Please see pictures and read listing of work done .Car was not painted when mechanical restoration was completed. Please see picture of trim tag, this car is a BLACK on BLACK car that was painted red at some time over 20 years ago. The engine in the car has been completely rebuilt and balanced. Period correct engine for this car. 1963 327 cu. in. block, heads are 1964 double hump 2.02 valves,Intake is a corvette (Winters) 327 365 hp. New Holley 600 carb. on the car. All ignition shielding is on the car except the two lower Y shaped plug wire covers. They are in a box with smalls that go with car. This engine is dressed like a 365 hp, it sounds like a 365 hp, it runs BETTER than a 365 hp. The transmission is remanufactured Muncie 4 speed with Hurst Competition Plus short shifter. Body is solid and frame is excellent. Picture shows vin# on frame to matchvin# on car. It does have a removeable transmission crossmember. Rear axle is a positive traction with a 3.55 or 3.70 ratio. Glass and chrome in good condition. Hardtop is includedwith sale, most weather stripping is new, it does not have a headliner. Body removed from frame, frame media blasted and powder coated: A frames and cross members media blasted and powder coated: New u joints, wheel bearings and trailing arm bearings: New brake lines, brake hoses, wheel cylinders and master brake cylinder. Master brake cylinder is a dual reservoir, power brake booster. New upper and lower ball joints: New under the car exhaust system, 2 1/2" from Corvette Central. New wiring harness from cowl forward: New Al Knoch convertible top, most new weatherstrip. New Al knoch carpet 80/20 press molded like in a 65, 66 & 67 models. Rebuilt headlight motors (dated 1964): New Battery and battery box 10/2017. New tires less than 500 miles. New heater core, blower motor and seal kit. Steering box rebuilt. The correct 1964 hood standing by the car is included. Presently, the car has a flat hood like on a 65,66,67. A box of small parts go with car; correct glove box door, weatherstrip, dual grove pulleys etc. etc.. If interested I will email additional photographs. I welcome inspections and drive.
