Here it is! A very rare, refurbished, 1988 Land Rover Defender 110 V8 with 144000 original miles. This vehicle Is Right Hand Drive, 7 passenger with new Interior. Newly installed and updated radio with USB port, aux port, backup camera and GPS. The Rover is cosmetically sound with new paint. It is not perfect and it was not a “frame off restoration”. Recent Work Completed 8/18/2017:- Cosmetic - New LED tail lights installed.- Mechanical - Rebuilt two carburetors, fixed driver's door lock, Outer tie rod ends, U-Joints, carb seal kits, carb gasket sets, replaced battery cable ends, replaced all fluids. Starts and runs on first turn. Doors are in great shape. This truck started it's life in Solihull, England on August 1, 1988. After a life driven sparingly and treated well, it was imported into the US legally and with all documentation in August of 2015. It has seen extensive frame-on restoration with significant eye for detail. The truck has been freshly painted, new rims and tires, a new exhaust system as well as a new gas tank. All rubber seals, INCLUDING the windscreen rubber, have been replaced. A custom leather interior has been professionally installed, as well as matching dashboard, console, and steering wheel. Both driver and passenger seats are HEATED top and bottom. The headlining was also re-done. Installed in the custom dashboard is a brand new Double-Din navigation head unit. Mechanically, the truck is sound. There are no issues shifting through the gearbox, High and Low selections function flawlessly, and the engine is powerful and reliable. The front of the truck has been updated with the SVX Grill. This truck is also the ONLY Defender around you'll find with the OEM Defender Nudge Bar with front lights. This bar is only found on the new model Defenders This truck is a classic example of new luxury added to timeless style.
