I am the second owner. The title is in my name and the registration is in non-operational status, so there would be no back fees or penalties for registration in the state of California. The case half at the engine number was damaged at some time by a thrown drive chain, which is common on these models. The CA CHP applied a new engine number emblem. I cleaned the carb and had the bike running briefly with a push start, but it was obviously loaded up and not readily clearing out before I stalled it. The bike just needs to be started and run to the point of cleaning out, in my opinion. Top-end looks good through the exhaust port, but I haven't disassembled it. See photos taken through the exhaust port while I had the exhaust pipe off for painting. New drive chain and Uni air filter element. Bike has complete original airbox with lid and clips. Oil lines and pump are still installed and appear functional. Forks are nice. Front fender is faded Preston Petty. The inside of the fuel tank is not too bad inside (see photo) - the inside of the tank at the emblem mount area and bottom appear mostly clean with spots of rust. Seat cover and foam are soft and pliable. Seat cover has one small tear.
