Vehicle Detail

2002 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante. California car from new (in Pennsylvania for one year) with 3 previous owners. Clean Carfax and Autocheck history. Clean California title in hand. The car is in good cosmetic condition overall, but it does have some small issues. The car's paint is very nice, with just a very small dent on the hood (see photo) and other small blemishes that could probably be remedied without paintwork. The convertible top is like new and functions flawlessly. The interior is nice, but has some small cracks in the leather.I had the car evaluated at an independent mechanic that has extensive experience with DB7s. They diagnosed the car as having a bad fuel pump (one of two pumps), which is causing a degradation of power from the engine due to an inactive cylinder bank. The car does run and drive, but at reduced power. Two replacement fuel pumps are included with the car. One of the throttle position sensors is also throwing a code. I believe the TPS can be replaced with inexpensive Ford cross-referenced parts. The mechanic did say that upon inspection of the engine that the car did look to be cared for (i.e. no sludge or other signs of neglect). The radio is inactive and needs a code. The windshield has a repaired chip near the VIN plate and a 6" crack at the lower passenger corner. I was told by Safelite that neither will spread further and that the car should pass PA inspection (since the flaws aren't in the center of the driver's view). The front of the car seems to have had a 3M or similar protective coating applied that is peeling a bit on the front bumper cover. The door-to-window trim on the passenger side is loose. Inside the car, the driver's seat has some bolster wear. There is a very small crack in the carbon fiber near the shifter (see photo), and the dash has some saggy leather on top of the instrument binnacle. The car has a new battery and starts easily every time. Other than the reduced engine power, the steering and handling are very smooth and responsive. The air conditioning works well. The car includes both a grey, breathable factory car cover and a fabric tonneau cover. The interior is a 2-tone with Recaro heated power bucket seats. The interior trim has carbon fiber on the dash and seude-like material on the roof. The stereo is a Becker cassette up front and a CD changer in the trunk. The car has a parking sensor system that beeps when reversing near objects. I would consider this car a #3 or #4 condition car on Hagerty's scale. They put a $32,500 valuation on a #4 car. I have priced the car for a quick sale considering the high mileage and fuel pump issue. Please email with any questions! On Oct-16-17 at 20:48:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Update 10/16/2017: 100 High-res photos, Autocheck history, and factory build sheet can be found here: https://flic.kr/s/aHskpSi7Ny
