This GS1100E has been in storage in Utah since 1990. it is amazing the kind of shape it is in. The 33MM Keihin CR Special carbs were just put on 1 month ago. I have the original carbs, they are very clean as well. The paint is original except for the front fender. Ther is no rust on the frame or any of the bolts. The engine has no funny noises or smoke and runs very smooth. The bike starts right up and idles where it should. All the wiring and rubber including the seat has been preserved while in storage. Not even close to beginning to dry rot. The wheels have no oxidation or scratches on them from careless bike shop. It has Accel coils and wires and a Vance and Hines 4 into 1. It was driven pretty easily when on the road. It had a luggage rack behind the seat and a small fairing when taken out of storage. It still has the cruise control lever on the handle bars.This is a nice GS1100E, The bike feels tight and the brakes are solid. the lines have been flushed The machine marks are still on the discs. From the way the engine sounds, it has not been ridden hard.Tires are vintage 1990, so you might want to replace these. Needs a tachometer cable.
