For sale by private seller is an absolutely immaculate and original 1985 Honda V65 Sabre (VF1100S). It has only 2,870 actual miles on it and is probably one of the best original examples of this 1985 super bike in the world. Yes, it is really that good. I bought the bike from the original owner who lovingly took care of it over the years. It features a 121 horsepower water cooler V-twin engine and 6-speed transmission. It tested at 3.04 seconds from 0 to 60 mph and 11.2 seconds in the 1/4 miles by Cycle Magazine in 1984. That's fast even by today's standards! The only item not original on the bike is the Rifle mini-fairing which is a "bolt-on" and can be easily removed if desired. The paint and body panels are perfect with no dents, scratches or defects. The original decals are still on the gas tank and frame rails and are like new. No leaks either. The bike runs perfectly and is ready to ride. Everything works as it should. Instrument panel is excellent. Starts, stops, drives, idles and runs as it should. It is ready to go. Although near perfect, because of its age, bike is being sold "as-is, where-is" with no expressed or implied warranties. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer although I will assist any way that I can. If you buy the bike and it does not meet your expectations at the time of pick-up, you can walk away with no negative feedback and I will refund any deposit made (less PayPal fees if deposit is made this way).
