I am listing this vehicle for a friend. Up for sale is a 2006 Nissan Xterra. It is being sold AS IS.The miles are showing 159,671, however the cluster has been changed and he isn't sure how many miles are on the car. Mechanical: The tire monitor light is on, the air bag light is flashing and the wiper reservoir is on, the check engine light was on, and it cut off.I have not had the vehicle checked for any codesThe engine runs good, starts fine no noise or smoking.The transmission has issues. Sometimes the transmission quits pulling. You can park and let it sit overnight and it seems to work ok for a short while.The Heat, A/C, Cruise, Power Windows and Locks all work properly. The radio works but it doesn't illuminate at night. The tires are 265/70/16 and still have about 3/4 of the tread.I have driven this vehicle and haven't heard any sound from the rear differential.Body and interior:The body is in pretty good condition "no rust" or major dents, with the exception of a small area of damage on the back of lower section LH Rear door and door sill, the back bumper has a small amount of damage on the left side..The interior is in fair condition, it shows like a 10 year old vehicle. The drivers seat bottom has some wear and the carpet also shows wear. The interior could use a really good cleaning. When the transmission is shifting this is a nice SUV. If someone has the ability to fix the transmission they will have a good car at a reasonable price. As I stated, the vehicle is being sold for a friend. And the sale is "AS IS" whether you are buying to repair and drive, or part the vehicle out. That is entirely up to you.
