A true California original! This 1979 VW karman edition convertible with 105,000 miles has spent half its life in Pleasanton CA and half its life in the apple farm land of Watsonville CA. The beautiful blue color is a factory color repaint done in July of 2004 along with a new convertible top, front seat covers, and floor mats. This car was owned twice before me, both times by middle age ladies. Since I purchased the car in Oct 2014 I have installed the following new items: brakes, wheel bearings, center caps, lug nut covers, running boards, gravel guards, tail light lenses and bulbs, front strut cartridges, rear coil over shocks for proper ride stance, front bushings, antenna, front seat belts, convertible boot, all brake hoses, windshield, rubber, chrome strip, wipers, and proper tires. The car shifts smooth, passes smog, runs great and drives true and straight. These cars continue to rise in value, turn heads, give enjoyment, and remain a truly affordable classic convertible car! Note: The blue licence plates in the pictures are for photo purposes only! The car has the standard white plates and is currently registered in CA. The blue collector plates will be given with the vehicle.
