Very rare produced only for 3 month before they went to the square body style. This truck RUNS AND DRIVES and stops. Drive Train- 1954 Chevy Truck 235 that fires right up and sounds good. No smoke, or unusual noises. Engine has a tuneup-new plugs, points, coil, spark plug cables. I also installed a new water pump. It also has a new 12.volt Ac.delco alternator for better charging.Transmission is a 3 speed with a MR GASKET floor.shifter. 1955 was the fist year for trucks to have an open driveline from the factory.-Has a brand new clutch kit (pressure plate, clutch, throwout bearing.) Brakes- New wheel cylinders, shoes, and rebuilt master cylinder. has 4 wheel drum brakes Suspension- Stock nothing modified. Leaf spring suspension front and back. Frame- Stock, Straight and rust free. Factory spare tire under bed carrier Electrical- Only the ignition system is wired in with an alternator conversion and brand new Duralast gold battery with warranty. Stomp starter pedal is in working condition. ORIGINAL WIRING STILL IN THE TRUCK. Body- This is a 99% rust free truck Has most of its original paint still on it so there is no bondo or hidden repairs on the metal. -SOLID BODY AS GOOD AS YOULL FIND-SOLID FLOORS-SOLID CAB CORNERS-SOLID BELT LINE-SOLID FRAME-SOLID DASH-SOLID DOOR BOTTOMS-SOLID WINDOW CHANNELS-SOLID HOOD, FRONT FENDERS, -SOLID VERY STRAIGHT RUNNING BOARDS-GOOD DECENT BED GOOD TAILGATE Truck need finish spot welding on the right side cowl panel. Front clip was taken apart for this repair but is now secured for transportation. I also have most parts for the truck 99% complete, only missing back window, door glass and rear bumper brackets.
