I am relisting this item because of a non payer ebayer. If you have less than 10 transactions with ebay please contact me first I will block the bid if not. Up For Auction I have a 1942 Chevy Truck that was originally used by the U.S. NAVY. This truck has always been in the dry Nevada desert. The truck was stationed at Fallon Naval Air Base in Central Nevada for many years. Than it spent the rest of its days on a ranch. It has a 235 engine, that runs great. The brakes also seem to work good and shifts in to gear smoothly. The original factory bed is still useable and has sides that fold down. Currently, it is running on 12 volt but, needs a 6 volt battery. The tires are 7:00 x 20 that have cracks but hold air. I would recommend new tires before driven on the highway. The wheel base from the center of the hub in the rear to the center of the hub in the front is 117". It fits on a 18 foot trailer. The truck comes with a clear Nevada Title however, it shows it as being a 2.5 Ton but, I do not believe that is correct. The seat has the original upholstery and the windshield cranks out smoothly. Also, the windows work good and all the glass is not cracked. It also comes with the extra items shown in the pictures. Contact me if you have any questions. Happy bidding.
