1967 Jeepster convertible. (NOT A Commando)Top retracts by hydraulic cylinders,new cylinders and hoses. I am the original owner. I purchased it from Gallaway Motors in Tucson Arizona in July 1967. I have the original sales contract & original keys. THIS VEHICLE MAY NOT PASS INSPECTION IN CALIFORNIA. I replaced the 225 engine in 1980 with a 1978 231 GM engine. Does not require leaded gas. Rebuilt the TH400 transmission in 2007 using a new GM case. A transmission adapter is no longer required. 8400 miles since rebuild. Rear axel is Dana 44/Spicer Powr-Lok 3.73 rebuilt & installed 9/20/83. The two piece front drive shaft has been replaced with one piece. No carry bearing required. Seats recovered with original style material with special manufacture run to make original material ($3000) After market A/C with all GM connections and GM compressor under the hood Installed in Sept 1995. GM alternator and voltage regulator. Warn auto locking hubs. The standard cutout hub caps will not go over these. I have a pair of standard locking hubs. New chrome on seatbelt hardware and new belting. Instruments and speedometer replaced with NOS recently. Tail light buckets replaced with NOS. The only deep rust is in front of accelerator pedal. It was patched with POR-15 putty and paint. Floor pan available for $145.00 from "Just Jeepsters" It was not available when the new carpet was installed. Only surface rust inside panels, photos are available. Top works, replaced hoses and cylinders recently. Top Boot is the original, in storage, like new, seldom used. I purchased a new top but the installer did a bad install job. It will need to be replaced. The window part is OK and you can purchase the top without window for about $400.
