I am selling my 1968 Shelby GT350 convertible. This is "NOT" a clone. I am re-listing the Shelby for the third time and for the last time. It has sold twice and had bidders back out after the auction was stopped early after excepting their best offer. Extremely frustrating! Please, if you do not have the money to bid or you are expecting a show car, do not bid. Your bid is final and that is what you will be paying for the Shelby. Also, please only email me with questions if you honestly are interested in purchasing the car. If you are a serious bidder, I will answer any of your questions. Now that I got that out of the way, my Shelby has a rebuilt numbers matching motor, numbers matching 4-speed transmission with new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing, numbers matching 3.89 posi Ford 9" rear end, It spent most of its life in the Mid-West. New white convertible top with correct glass window and new hydraulic pistons, new BFGoodrich tires, new brakes and brake lines, new shocks, new front end, new dual exhaust, original radiator just rebuilt, new gas tank, new sending unit, and new fuel lines, new carpet, new front seat covers, new door panels, and new front windshield. Sunlit gold with a black interior, and white convertible top (all as per original factory colors). I also have the original Shelby console with gauges. Body and under carriage is very solid. Has had a section of the front drivers floor pan replaced as well as a small 6" section of the lower passenger side quarter panel behind the wheel 20 years ago. This car was off the road for many years by previous owner but always garage kept. I also have a deluxe Marti report, the original build sheet, a ton of past history paperwork, and old photographs. I have owned and driven for 2 1/2 years. This a "driver quality" complete and solid convertible Shelby. It is in very nice condition and you can jump in and enjoy her right now. Paint is old, but it shows nicely. However, it does have chips and scratches from use and age. Car looks great from 10 feet and also in pictures but paint is by no means perfect. This is a great driver quality "REAL" numbers matching convertible Shelby at an affordable price. Enjoy and drive today, and restore later. Car is located in Long Island, New York.
