2004 model year makes this bike 13 years old. 28,000 miles divided by 13 equals 2,153 miles per year, not really a lot. It is used, but certainly not abused. I rode it recently and I personally wouldn't have any problem riding it home to wherever you live from Kirkland, Wa. 98033. If I were to do that, I would have it tuned and I would throw on two new tires. There is some surface rust on the pipes, the bike has been outside at some point, some chrome could be touched up, and since I am old, I would pay my 15 year old nephew $50.00 to clean and polish. These is a very affordable commuter, reliable traveler, it is after all, a Suzuki. Nice riding, comfortable, and ready to go.
