What you are looking at here is a very nice, very rust free, very original, 73k actual mi 65 Mustang. With the exception of one repaint this car is untouched, just very well cared for since new! The car is super solid! The shock towers, cowl, floorboards, trunk floor, torque boxes, subframe rails, doors, all look very nice and rust free. I have ran a soft magnate all over the body and the only place I had an issue was right above the rear tire on the wheel well about 3 in long right at the top, so there might be a little mud under there. Other then that the magnate stuck everywhere else, wheel wells, door bottoms, lower quarters, around the windshield, and back window. The doors shut like new, very nice and easy. There is no "tinny" sound, like you hear and feel with a lot of old Fords when you close the doors. All of the windows roll up and down easily. The paint was done at least ten years ago and still shines and looks very nice, but is not concourse quality. The original color was Silver Smoke Grey. I think they tried to replicate it, but got a little too much blue in it. However, like I said it looks very nice. The original interior is next to perfect for it's age. It shows about as much wear as a very well kept car with 73k mi should. The chrome also has a great shine for it's age. The original 200 I6 runs great. I bought the car from a local couple about a week and a half ago, (strictly to resell), and have put over 100 miles on it, mostly on the hi way . The coupe who I bought it from bought it about seven hours away and drove it home with no problems, about eight years ago. It looks like it has had a recent tune up. The 3 spd manual shifts as perfect as it did when it was new. THIS CAR COMES WITH A CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME AND MILEAGE DOCUMENTATION ON THE TITLE. It also comes with another complete set of spinner hubcaps. All in all this is a fun and well kept car that would make a great cruiser for anybody.
