I am selling my 1968 Shelby GT350 convertible. This is "NOT" a clone. I am relisting due to an overseas buyer who backed out after I ended the auction early for him. I have lowered my price quite a bit because my friend has decided to sell his Superbird, and I need the money to help buy it before he puts it on the market. My Shelby has a rebuilt numbers matching motor, numbers matching 4-speed transmission with new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing, numbers matching 3.89 posi Ford 9" rear end, New white convertible top with correct glass window and new hydraulic pistons, new BFGoodrich tires, new brakes and brake lines, new shocks, new front end, new dual exhaust, original radiator just rebuilt, new gas tank, new sending unit, and new fuel lines, new carpet, new front seat covers, new door panels, and new front windshield. Sunlit gold with a black interior, and white convertible top (all as per original factory colors). Has a deluxe Marti report, original build sheet, and 20 years of paperwork, receipts, and photos. I also have the original Shelby console with gauges. Body and under carriage is very solid without rust. Has had a section of the front drivers floor pan replaced as well as a small 6" section of the passenger side quarter panel behind the wheel 20 years ago. This car was off the road for many years by previous owner and garage kept. I have owned and used for 2 1/2 years. This is a great driver, but it will still need some minor items repaired to be finished. Paint shows nicely, but it does have chips and scratches from use and age. Car looks great from 10 feet and also in pictures but paint is not perfect. This is a great driver quality "REAL" numbers matching Shelby at an affordable price. Drive today, and restore later.
