This Jetta TDI is not part of the VW buyback program. Diesels like this will be getting rare as more and more 2009-2016 models are taken off the road. This one has virtually all highway miles; I bought it with 13,000 miles on it and drive it on the Interstates mostly and live in a rural area. It is clean in and out and ready to drive away. It has never been in an accident, flood or other problem. It was recently inspected but it does need a new passenger side spring. I have driven it with the broken spring for the past year with no problems but it should be fixed eventually. The AC works when moving but a new fan is needed when the vehicle is stationary. This has to do with a VW AC system pressure quirk, as it was explained to me. I have all service records if you are interested, showing regular oil changes and all other service that it has had the past 11 years. The car was often parked under a Hickory tree so it has a few minor dings in the hood and roof. There are three small spots where rust has appeared. One is on the hood, another on the front fender over the tire, and a third on the rear fender where someone sideswipped the vehicle recently (hit and run) as it was parked in a lot. The photos show these three areas. This is a great vehicle to make into a grease car if you have access to vegetable oil. It has been cheap and reliable transportation. I love it that when you turn the key, there is no turnover, it just starts immediately, even in the cold. Best mileage has been 52 MPG with 46-48 MPG normal for Interstate driving. Some people have exceeded 100 MPG with this vehicle but that is beyond me. I am selling it because my wife and I are tired of walking up our steep and long driveway when it snows here in Upstate New York and so we have bought an AWD vehicle to replace it.
