If you are looking for a solid,original and un-molested square body for your next build then this one is for you. Or, you could slam it , put some wheels on it and leave the patina! To start with this truck is in what I consider to be the best color combination of the black and charcoal gray. This truck has a very long glove box list of options and the best part is they all work. The A/C is cold, the power windows and locks work as does the cruise control and dual tanks. I just recently installed a new alternator , distributor , plugs and wires. 1986 was the first year for the computer controlled Q-Jet carb and they didn't work that great, there for I by-passed the computer,replaced the distributor and replaced the carb with a standard Q-Jet and it runs great. It still idles a little rough when cold but runs strong. The truck sounds really good with a new Flo-Master exhaust. I also replaced the front inner fenders with brand new ones because the original had the typical rust under the battery so I went ahead and replaced both of them.The truck is very solid but does have couple small spots in the rocker panels and a spot on the right rear lower 1/4 behind the fender. It also looks like somebody got against something on the right front fender and door but a brand new door shell is included. The inside of the bed is original and almost perfect. I included a copy of the Carfax that shows no collisions or total loss. Please ask any questions before bidding and inspections are welcome. Thanks for looking and good luck !
