Vehicle Detail
The third generation Camaros are now getting the attention of all collectors, and finding original cars like this is becoming very difficult for the enthusiasts, and those who want a car to drive, enjoy, and see it appreciate in value over time. This is a completely stock unmolested car that looks, runs, and drives like it did brand new in 1992. With 92 being the last year of the third generation, Chevy celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Camaro adding one of the best colors used on these cars, and this one includes the G92 - LB9 package, with just 13,332 actual miles. This car is a keeper! The paint is all original Medium Quasar Blue, used in 1990 to 1993 on the Corvette, and only in 92 on the 3rd Gen Camaro. Inside is the Optional extra cost Black Custom Cloth interior. As shown in the pictures the seats and door panels are actually Black and Dark Gray. The G92 performance rear axle coupled to the LB9 5.0L 5 speed manual gives you the same track-racing feel as the 1LE, except the way this car was ordered with the Z28 Preferred Equipment Group you get air conditioning, the AM-FM Stereo Cassette with Digital Clock, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Rear Hatch Release, Rear Window Defroster, and all the standard Z28 convenience features. The fixed roof coupe is a much more rigid ride and feel, and the LB9 5.0L with the G92 performance rear axle box checked when ordered boosted the horsepower from 205 to 230, nearly the same as the 5.7, and just as fast when equipped with the 5 speed manual transmission. Those features make this car fun to drive, and a solid investment for the performance minded enthusiast. This car is ALL ORIGINAL except for the battery, oil filter and air filter. Included is the original window sticker, owners manual with audio tape, and a clean Carfax and Auto Check that shows the actual mileage and owner history to be correct as advertised. The car has just been serviced at the local Chevrolet dealer. It is also worth mentioning that all 4 original wheels and Good Year Eagle tires are on this car and in excellent condition, no curb rash, along with the original floor mats! Be sure to see the picture of the hood and rear deck lid up. If you know these cars those gas shocks are problematic, and all 4 of these work and hold the hood and rear deck straight and in the full upright position as they should. The 24 pictures should tell the rest of the story on this car. Currently I have 5 third generation Camaros that I collected, and they are all one owner cars. This car was purchased new, and 13,289 miles were put on by the original owner. The car was purchased by the second owner as an investment car, but his priorities changed when he decided to build a new house. I purchased the car from him, and am now offering it for sale as I begin to downsize my collection in Ohio, and get ready for retiring to South Florida for the winters. I reserve the right to end this auction early if the car goes to a buyer of any of my other cars I will be selling. I will also make arrangements with the buyer to transport the car to Florida for pickup there at the actual expense for the transportation.
