This is a 1984 model year (the last model year for the 40/42/43/44/45/46/47 series Land Cruisers). It is NOT a 1980 - Ebay requires a "valid" VIN for 1981 and newer and this cruiser's VIN doesn't meet the Ebay requirement even though its VIN is true and valid. Titled and Registered in California and is SMOG except.Originally from Australia. HJ47 Troop Carrier (Troopy) right hand drive. Newer Toyota 1HZ diesel engine with brand new 1HD-T turbo setup and 3" stainless steel exhaust. Rebuilt H55F 5 speed manual transmission with 40 series 5 speed top cover to retain proper interior transmission tunnel cover. The engine swap includes using as many Toyota Land Cruiser parts as possible (from mostly 70 75 series). HJ61 power steering using Toyota parts from 60 and 70 series Landcruisers. New radiator, new brakes, like new tires (BFG All Terrain 33x10.50). Lots of new OEM parts.Runs and drives great with way more power than the stock 2H. POR15'ed and then Rhino lined interior floors.
