Vehicle Detail
I am selling my very clean Lexus LX 450. The car has spent its entire life in a dry climate Midwest. My wife and I owned an almost identical 450 which we bought new from the Lexus dealer in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We kept that vehicle almost 15 years. In that time it was only back to the dealership for oil changes and new brake pads at around 75k miles. Our family moved on to new vehicles as our needs changed. The truck impressed me so much that when this one came on the market I bought it as a winter use vehicle for the four wheel drive. Now it has aided me by pulling a trailer to my beach house near Pensacola. I no longer need the all wheel drive and find that the truck stays in the garageand we really don't drive it much. The previous owner had the car for 15 years. As a nurse she used it to commute to work around 80 miles round trip every day. She kept all her receipts on service since new. This is just a wonderful SUV. It does not use any oil and has been on Mobile 1 since the beginning. Ride is smooth . The vehicle has not been off road and you tell by how nice it is inside and out.I have not found anything that does not work as it should. The mast on the power antenna was bent and I replaced it. I have not hooked it to the radio for it will have to have a panel taken loose to run the wiring harness. I did verify it will go up and down . A radio installation shop can do this in an hour but I was going to but because it works and brings in a signal I honestly forgot. I'm just trying accurately describe the car. The only other known problem is the power seat on the passenger side works in every position but backwards. I believe it to be a very easy fix also. I will be happy to speak to an interested on the issue. For now the seat is in the back position so it's really where it should be.The tires are Yokohama and are better than half .The car has a couple scapes but has never been in an accident. I noticed that Toyota dealer replaced the windshield at around 150k miles with a oem windshield. The front seats have had lamb skin covers on which explains how nice they still are.The third row seating have never been used so they appear brand new. In fact I have had them in my garage up until I moved. The second row seating looks as though there has not been anyone setting in them either. Which makes sense since the lady I purchased this vehicle from mainly used it to safely commute. The paint is very nice but would benefit from a waxing. As I mentioned the car has sat for awhile and hadn't been waxed since we've moved. Please contact me if you have any questions.Greg
